In the portal, Rates → Bolívar rate sets which rate converts your USD prices to bolívares: BCV (official, the default) or Market (Binance P2P, the same base rate your USDT conversions use, without the conversion spread). It applies to payment links, the hosted checkout and API charges that send usdAmount. Charges that send vesAmount keep that exact Bs amount; their usdAmount is derived at your rate. Every payment records rate, rateSource and the official bcvRate, and buyers see Tasa BCV or Tasa de mercado.

How the median is calculated
- Successful numeric BCV rates from available sources are collected.
- One rate → that rate is the median.
- Two rates → the average of the two (median of an even set).
- If sources.bank is unavailable, medianRate equals bcvRate.
